November 16, 2006
Walk out door
At sidewalk or street turn left
Pass* six houses, one apartment building
Or one hedge on the left
Or five power poles
Or five trees on the right before the street
At fifth tree
Or one mailbox drop for the letter carrier but not the general public
Cross street (to walk in the sun)
Turn left
pass two white picket fences
(one of them is attached to a house I like because it has a protected porch with a couch)
Or pass two tree hedges hanging over the sidewalk
Or four houses on the left side with porches
Or four houses on the right with stained glass in the front doorway area
Or pass one house for sale
Or pass one house under construction
At the alley or building with more than 12 windows facing in one direction
Or at the powerpole with five sets of wires coming from it
Or at the next telephone pole
Turn right
pass five dumpsters, a car park on the right
or a scooter on the right and a crow peering from the top of the closest building
or orange arrow pointing towards you
walk through the parking lot
after parking lot turn so that shadow is to the right front (about 1:30)
walk past fire hydrant
wrought iron railing that looks like arms flung open in greeting
and a neighbourhood institution
turn right at next street
cross street
at other side turn left
walk across next cross walk
turn left at newspaper boxes with free publication
or a large overhanging tree
or a vacant lot
